put stonestriker on the 600hp or better: greater conflagation on the smiter.
Leave marketplace from the north entry, move to Wing, kill a few Jades and the big groups of plagueborns.

Use a perma SF dagger sin with [[assassins remedy] instead of [[critical eye] and take a [[protective bond] hero for the afflicted soul explosions and you should be able to do it.

using my mes I have been able to kill afflicted in those spots :

- Shadow's Passage : start from Dragon's Throat, has a war boss

- The Undercity (sometimes monk + rit groups) : start from Vizunah Square (Local Quarter), has necro and monk boss

- Shenzun Tunnels (monk or rit only groups) : start from Sunjiang District, has mesmer boss (ele boss is too far and requires to go through groups of Am Fah, could be done probably if you're lucky with spawns)

- Zen Daijun : start the mission and hug left, Professor Vhang will follow, but you can get him killed, try to kill the first afflicted before Togo at least, since they sometimes aggro him and could kill him, after it's up to you, you can take your time and kill all the afflicted or run to the last bosses to get master on this mission, it took me 15 minutes to do it in HM, there may be some chest spawn (1 or 2), has 2 ranger, rit, monk boss

last but not least, if your character is not canthan born, you could also do Zen Daijun explorable and Haiju Lagoon

drop wise, I think it was ok, lot of bones, tanned hide, leathers from salvaging, some monstrous eyes/claws/fangs, regular and elite tomes, runes/insignia and got a req 9 (edit : curses) 20/10 plagueborn staff

will try 3 others spot that I think may be good :

- outside of Unwaking Waters (Kurzick) to Morostav Trail
- outside of Seafarer's Rest to Rhea's Crater
- outside of Leviathan Pits to Silent Surf

Ive been farming zen daijun and found a way to go to the mobs without starting the mission... making 5 or 6 golds "plague born" for run... and i didnt completed them... also lots of armour with runes

TIP: when u see a gui with a plagueborn ep in his hands kill it! it willl surelly drop! an dim going to prove it in my guide..." already took some screens..."

plague born weps are going to leave the "rare weps" rank...

tested the 3 spots I mentionned above, as I expected, all are quite easy, I even surprised my self killing other random monsters in Silent Surf :

Leviathan Eye
Leviathan Mouth
Outcasts
Saltspray Dragon (stay away or they will cast [lightning touch] and [inferno])
Jade Torn Kirin (they have [hex breaker] so it take longer to kill them)
Oni

killed Assassin's Construct, Sentasi and Kenrii, will also test Miella, Sourbeak and the Whispering Ritual Lord, shouldn't be too hard with careful pull

couldn't get Amadis as his patrol often get him killed first, but it should be doable

edit : btw I don't think they will nerf SF in pve

it took a hit in PVP due to some ppl abusing it, but in pve, well it's pve
